Expressing or dealing with anger is something that is often labelled as being inappropriate and can be so if bottled up to the point of it being expressed in an out of control manner or it if boils to the point of rage.
In having to deal with my own anger and rage, I have found anger to be a tool or resource that indicates to me that something is not right and that an appropriate boundary needs to be set.
The problem I had, and which I see in both my animal and human clients, is when the anger or rage is suppressed and can often turned back onto ourselves. Ā Then, in an effort to be expressed it can be released uncontrollably.Ā Anger needs to be expressed appropriately and not projected or dumped onto others through inappropriate, out-of-control behaviour.
Anger is not inappropriate if expressed in a balanced, conscious way.Ā The APPROPRIATE ANGER BLEND assists with:
